With the Grill Fanatics Half Moon Plate Setter you can easily create indirect heat in your large kamado barbecue. The half heat deflector stone blocks direct heat from the charcoal, allowing food to cook slowly and evenly. Ideal for slow cooking, smoking, and preparing larger cuts of meat.

The plate setter is made of heat resistant cordierite that distributes heat evenly inside the barbecue. Thanks to its half moon shape you can create a two zone setup, allowing you to barbecue with both direct and indirect heat at the same time.

The dimensions are designed to fit the most common large kamado barbecues, allowing the plate setter to fit many popular models. Want to create full indirect heat? Combine two half plate setters to form a complete heat deflector. The package contains one half plate setter.
